Since the SIG MCX Virtus has a cone and no shoulder at the end of the muzzle thread, commercially available brakes and silencers cannot be fitted.
This is why we have manufactured this adapter, which holds the cone cleanly and provides a shoulder for the application of muzzle brakes and silencers.
